How Invisalign Works

The correction starts with making sure a patient’s teeth and gums are in good condition. If there are any cavities or signs of gum disease, these need to be corrected first. Then Dr. Seifi’s staff take careful scans of the patient’s teeth and mouth. This and other information are sent to Invisalign technicians who create a series of clear aligners.

The aligners are returned to the office and the patient is brought in to try them out and learn how to wear and care for them. The patient is sent home with a series of aligners and wears each set for one to two weeks before moving on to the next set in the series. Dr. Seifi watches the process closely to ensure that the teeth are gradually moving into the right positions.
